What did you do this morning?
Wake up call: 6:10am. Take Dex for a walk. Eat banana and peel/slice apple for later. Out the door, on the bike at 6:35am. Ride to 72nd and Riverside Park. Stretch, get the transition area ready. 1 mile warm up run. Throw on bike gear, and ride for an hour, through Central Park, one complete loop + 2 hills and back. Back to Riverside park, transition to running gear. Run 3 miles. 15 mins of core...

40 minutes of masters swimming drills, finishing with 16 laps (800m) non-stop. A whole lot of win tonight.

GTS SWIM : WEEK 3
I went to the intermediate class tonight. First time swimming in a 50m pool. IT WAS AWESOME. There were less people, so we got more coaching. Total laps swam: 15. I didn’t want to get out of the pool.

For the past week I’ve been watching American channels. ABC, CBS, CNN, Lifetime, A&E, E!, you name it.
What I’ve realized is, the adverts are massively aggressive and wrong in a gazillion ways.
Right now as we speak I see a commercial where a woman feeds the possible future boyfriend Brussels sprouts and he pretends to like it, spit it out on the paper towel and run to the kitchen...

GTS #2 - Central Park Run
54 degrees at 6:30pm. Awesome.
5 minutes out, 5 minutes back, 1 minute of squats to “rest”.
I pushed myself harder and tried to keep up with the veteran runners.
After the 30 minute run, headed to Equinox at Time Warner to lift weights.
Doubled my shake tonight and made peanut sauce chicken with soba noodles for tomorrow’s lunch. Also made a turkey swiss sandwich and chopped...

GTS - Group Training Session
Our first run got canceled this past Saturday, so tonight was our first group training session (GTS). It was intentionally lax, with some intros and then a 30 mins run. 5 mins out, 5 mins back, 1 minute squats (3x). It felt more like a warm-up, but it was neat to see massive pack of 200+ people running. I’m sure it annoyed everyone around us though.
